1. Accepting These Terms

By creating an account, enrolling in a programme, or scheduling an exam with Python Institute, you accept these Terms and Conditions and agree to comply with all related policies referenced here.

If you are using Python Institute on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation, and "you" refers to the organisation.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

  • Accurate information: Keep profile and billing data current. We may suspend accounts with incomplete or inaccurate details.
  • Security: You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and all activity under your account.
  • Age requirements: Participants must be at least 16 years old, or have documented parental/guardian consent.

We reserve the right to refuse enrolment or revoke credentials for suspected fraud, misuse, or exam misconduct.

3. Program Access & Payments

  • Fees: Pricing for courses and exams is listed at checkout and is subject to change.
  • Payment processing: Secure third-party providers handle transactions. Additional terms from those providers may apply.
  • Refunds & rescheduling: Refer to our Refund Policy for detailed timelines and eligibility.

Services under corporate or bulk invoicing are subject to signed agreements outlining project-specific terms.

4. Exams & Academic Integrity

  • Identity verification: Valid government-issued photo ID required for proctored exams.
  • Proctoring: High-stakes exams are recorded to detect proxies and tampering.
  • Authentic work: All submitted work must be original. Plagiarism or impersonation is prohibited and may result in bans.

Assessment content is updated periodically to ensure it reflects current industry practice.

5. Intellectual Property

All courseware, exam items, branding assets, and platform features remain the exclusive property of Python Institute or its licensors.

  • Personal, non-transferable licence to access study materials.
  • Do not reproduce, resell, or display content publicly without written permission.
  • Credential badges must link to an active verification page.

6. Service Availability & Changes

We strive for high availability but may modify or discontinue features to improve the platform.

  • Maintenance windows: Planned downtime is communicated at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Major updates: Significant changes are announced via email and dashboard banners.
  • Beta programmes: Experimental features may be rolled back without notice.

7. Disclaimers & Liability

  • No career guarantees: Certifications strengthen your profile but do not guarantee job placement or salary increases.
  • Indemnity: You agree to indemnify Python Institute for issues arising from your use of our services.
  • Third-party links: We are not responsible for resources or employers linked from our platform.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties; your rights may vary.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms. You may also close your account at any time.

  • Immediate termination: Cheating, fraud, or abusive behaviour.
  • Survival: Intellectual property and liability clauses survive termination.
  • Post-termination: Certain data may remain in archives to meet legal obligations.

9. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the courts of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

Before initiating formal proceedings, please contact our legal team; we will attempt good-faith resolution within 30 days.
