Which certifications are available?

How long are certifications valid?

All certifications are valid for three years. Renew by taking the recertification exam or submitting continuing education evidence before expiry.

Yes. Employers, universities, and community partners around the world recognise Python Institute designations for both hiring and curriculum alignment.

How do I schedule an exam?

Head to Dashboard > Exams, pick a certification, and choose an available slot. Confirmation emails include your check-in instructions and system test link.

What happens on exam day?

Join 15 minutes early, complete the ID check, and keep a quiet, well-lit workspace. Remote proctors monitor your session and are available via live chat if you need help.

  • Stable internet (5 Mbps+) and an up-to-date browser.
  • Webcam and microphone kept on throughout the session.
  • Government-issued photo ID that matches your profile name.

What if I run into technical issues?

Alert the proctor immediately. If the disruption is on our side, we issue a complimentary retake voucher and reschedule you at the next available slot.

How do retakes and reschedules work?

  • 14-day cooling-off period between exam attempts.
  • Retakes are billed at 50% of the original fee.
  • Reschedule for free up to 48 hours before your slot; consult the refund policy for late-change fees.

Which payment methods are accepted?

We support major credit and debit cards, UPI, net banking, PayPal, and invoicing for approved enterprise partners. All transactions are handled by certified payment gateways.

How long do refunds take?

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days for cards and wallets. International bank transfers can take up to 14 business days to settle.

Can I request an invoice?

Yes. Download invoices from Dashboard > Billing & History or raise a ticket from the same page for customised billing details.
