Exam Day Tips
Allocate time for each question based on the total exam duration. Don't spend too long on any single question.
Pay close attention to the wording of each question. Small details can be crucial for selecting the correct answer.
If you're unsure about a question, mark it for review and come back to it later after answering easier questions.
Test your computer system, webcam, and internet connection at least 24 hours before your scheduled exam.
For multiple-choice questions, eliminate clearly incorrect answers first to improve your chances of selecting the right one.
Manage your stress by taking deep breaths. Remember your preparation and approach each question methodically.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if my internet connection drops during the exam?
If your connection drops for a brief period, the exam will be paused, and you can resume once reconnected. If the disconnection lasts more than 15 minutes, the exam may be terminated, and you'll need to contact support to reschedule. We recommend using a stable internet connection and having a backup option (like mobile hotspot) available.
Is there a recommended Python version for the exams?
All our certification exams are currently based on Python 3.x (specifically Python 3.8+). The exam environment uses the latest stable release of Python 3. We update our exam content periodically to reflect current Python best practices and features.
Do I need to have programming experience before taking the PICEP exam?
No prior programming experience is required for the PICEP (entry-level) certification. However, we recommend completing our Python Essentials 1 course or having equivalent basic Python knowledge before taking the exam. The PICEP is designed for beginners who have learned the basics of Python programming.
What ID is accepted for exam verification?
You must present a valid, government-issued photo ID for verification. Acceptable forms include passport, driver's license, national ID card, or military ID. The name on your ID must match the name you used when registering for the exam, and the ID must be current (not expired).
